Hitachi Virtual Partition Manager enables the logical partitioning of ports, cache and disk (parity groups) into independently managed Private Virtual Storage Machines on the Hitachi TagmaStore™ Universal Storage Platform.

CA Unicenter Integration Module The CA Unicenter Integration Module automates the discovery and monitoring of Hitachi storage systems that are managed in a CA Unicenter environment. Administrators can set policies to notify users when a Hitachi Freedom Storage device changes its state. The module uses Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps which are relayed to the administrator as error or trouble notification.
