The VaultDR Plugin Module is used to create a block-by-block disaster recovery image of a NetVault client. In addition to NetVault VaultDR Plugin, the VaultDR Online Plugin can perform a backup of Windows clients while these systems are up and running, without impacting application or network availability. From the NetVault server, simply select the disk and partition(s) to be backed up and create the VaultDR image. In the event of a failure, the restore process is performed quickly and efficiently to restore the system to its previous state without having to reinstall the OS, applications, system settings,
partition information, and data. Administrators need only to boot the affected machine with VaultOS™, NetVault’s disaster recovery operating system. It contains the necessary drivers required to re-establish network communication, and then recover a VaultDR image over the network.
