As part of its
expansion plans, the fast expanding Indovina Bank (IVB) - Vietnam has announced
that it will start implementing its first ATM Switch system within the next 4
months.
The back end
system will be provided by Microtec Vietnam and YCS India, and connect to IVB’s
new I-Flex customer retail banking solution, the Ho Chi Minh City-based bank
said.
According to
the bank, the system will enable IVB's customers 24x7 access to its banking
products and services. Besides, it will also support the connection to card
alliances or other banks in Vietnam in sharing payment network, and providing
cash advance for foreign visitors.
YCS India, the provider of the
Switch system, is a company specialized in providing financial transaction
solutions and outsourcing services. It has about 30 banking customers within the
region including ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Citibank India, MEPS of
Malaysia, Cazh.com Singapore, Seylan Bank of Sri Lanka, and the Bank of Fiji.
The IVB's ATMs
will be provided by NCR of the U.S., the world leading ATM technology producer.
