LAS VEGAS —
NCR Corp.
on Nov. 15 announced the launch of the NCR EasyPoint 42 for account services in
the bank-branch environment. The self-service device is designed to assist
financial institutions seeking to increase staff availability to promote and
sell products and services.
The NCR
EasyPoint 42 provides non-cash services, including advertising, automating the
account sign-up process and migrating low-value transactions.
“The
migration of platform and customer service transactions from the teller not only
frees the teller to focus more on higher-value transactions, but it is also
another important step in truly optimizing the branch,” said Andy Orent, vice
president of NCR’s Financial Solutions Division, Americas region.
